MC21 for Phillip Island

noidea » Tue Mar 04, 2014 7:05 am

SO I've just had my little MC21 fully rebuilt and have its maiden ride day booked at the Island for next week.
I keep hearing horror stories about 2t's blowing at the end of Gardner because thay are not jetted to suit the sea level atmospheric conditions..
The bike has been dyno'd (63RWHP) and jetted at TSP in Warragul (a long way from the ocean) and the last thing I want is to damage that sweet, sweet engine.

Will it be benificial to put some extra 2t oil into the fueltank to give a bit of extra lube at full noise?
Or should I just pull up after it tops out in 6th and feather it around turn 1? Question Question
Cant wait to get it out down there, I've owned this bike for about 10 years now and it'll be the first time I've ridden it in anger Evil or Very Mad
