Would you expect a little slip from your dry clutch if it has been disassembled for a while?

Not a very successful first outing on the new engine.

Got unpacked but too much for a single person to manage two bikes (I was riding my MV as well) because the twat faced monkey who was supposed to help me had his balls taken by his future wife and a mangina installed in it's place. A grown man being led by a child bride.

Not that I'm bitter.

Anyhoo.

Missed morning practice. Went out in qualifying, and before I could complete one lap I knew the jetting was off (it was running a bit flat in the top end) and it got red flagged due to a crash. Someone literally went from the pit exit and fell off at the first turn. At slow speed the slicks feel awful.


On my ride through the pits I noticed one of my chambers was oily. Nuts. Leaking gearbox fluid from an ill seated seal. So that was the end of qualifying.

For the first race on the NSR I was starting from last place on the grid, but on the outlap the clutch was slipping (it was the first time I'd been able to give it a proper fist full). Initially I thought it was my jetting change being too lean with the revs spiking and no real power. But worked out it was some clutch slip.

I took my place at the last spot and though i'll give it the welly on the first lap, it's the only way to find out if it is just plates and steels needing to bed in and take off any surface garbage from assembly. So when the lights went out that's what I did.

Straight into the back of Mr Muppet's 400 who's engine blew a head gasket on the line. He's quite famous for his hand grenade self built engines. I tried to swerve and it was a hard glancing blow. Hit him and found my front wheel pointing skywards. Brought that down to earth to find myself pointing at the tyre wall. Gathered myself up to find I'd no right footpeg. BAck to the pits to find a wrenched shoulder, dented calf, broken right footpeg (with bent brackets) and a dented chamber.

And so ended my 2 day race meeting before midday on Saturday as I was too sore to ride the MV. Thanks ass hat.

My questions are:
Should I have expected any clutch slip or do I need to investigate further?
And should my undies be this brown?>
