Once set up properly, I doubt there will ever really be any need to adjust R [or SE/SP] forks again. The adjustment isn't great on stock SE/SP forks anyway, and we have to modify them before you can actually feel any [even vaguely] noticeable difference between -5 and +5 on the rebuond "clicker". You can notice the preload more however, so really it's down to if you want to spend the extra on sourcing some MC21 forks for the twiddly bits.
RS250R NF5 forks however, are a whole different kettle of fish. They are superb, and better than any NSR fork. You will need to change the calipers and disks too though, or build the RS internals into the MC18 forks. They are a different length though, so it's not all straightforward, plus the lastest NF5 RWU forks have compression dampening on the fork bottoms. Light years ahead of the NSR though.
