Just to update, i have rebuilt the forks and now they are in great shape. BTW the tech said the chromed has some rust spots but he polished the tubes and left the surface very smotth again. Also there was a missing bushing, but he made it in 5 min at the lathe.
He made a mod in the forks and he ensured it will be very noticeable (we will see), if you are interested in can share with you. Also in order to see if he has uprated or spoiled a pair of MC18 forks.
