The MC21 is a great chassis, no question about it. The suspension can be a bit soft in standard trim though, and like you say, probably past its best after 24 years too!

The power delivery from the NSR motor makes it feel deceptively slow though, and can exaggerate tired suspension, because you don't often realise just how fast you're going when you start to tie it up in knots!
