There is no link. It's just not hard to do. All the wiresplice is doing is shorting certain wires to earth/ground. Rather than hard solder them, just route them through a switch (or switches -- I've seen someone use 2 switches before, to handle all the wires, but it's rather messy and cumbersome!).
You can see a wiring diagram in the Members section. You will will have to plan it yourself, or take the bike to an electrician.
As I say though, it's pointless, unless you are prepared to change the entire setup every time you flick the switch and insert a different card. The PGM-IV is not as flexible as it was hyped to be, back in 1994.
My advice is, if you have an HRC card/setup, stick with it! If you need an odometer, fit a small unobtrusive LED one suitable for a mountain bike or something.
