There are a number of sites that do downloads of manuals and for a lot less you could get the same information.
Also there is a lot of information on numerous web sites about the NSR range, I would go this way and save a hundred quid.
I have bought the Honda books and despite being in Japanese they do have a use particularly the Parts List which can be had for about a tenner on an auction site (No Names No Pack Drill), the manual is a good bit more but worth it because of the illustrations.
So for a little research you could save a significant amount of money.
There is also the info to be had on this company site for paid up members, you lucky people !
You pays your money and makes your choice.

Dux, are you talking about the manual I translated? As I never said it was a direct Honda product and that I spent many hours translating the actual honda manuals, cross referencing materials to make sure it was as accurate as possible. Not sure what "foibles" you are speaking of, but I have had very few complaints (outside of cost of shipping, which is out of my control).
It's funny, from day one of owning an NSR, people complained and wanted an English version of the Honda manual... No one really took the time to do a quality job of the complete MC16, 18, 21 manual and no one even attempted the MC28 manual (not sure why, it was much smaller and easier to translate due to it's layout). So I took it on myself, translated each and every page, spent even more time cleaning up the images and then laid out the manual exactly as it is from Honda, making it a direct reproduction of their manual.
As for the copy floating around on e-Bay, ye some little sh*t bought the manual from me and then copied it and is making copies to sell. Obviously not as good quality as what I produce. I use 21-22lb weight 96 bright white paper, have card stock front and back covers and this is all bound in a VERY heavy duty rubberized 3 lay flat 3 ring binder. The page size is standard US 8.5"x11" paper. The layout was done for that exact size paper, so when printed it prints as it should.
As for the paid site, Andy and I have spent the past 15+ years putting the information together for NSR-WORLD.com and NSR250.net. We have worked together to bring people a place where they can get technical information about the bikes they own. Andy and Stephen started a tuning service a couple years ago based on their knowledge and experience of these bikes. We feel that we have done a decent job in keeping the site in the nature of the original concept, while allowing Andy to have some portion of the site available for their tuning shop.
From the start we were careful about who we let openly peddle their business. We NEVER just allowed people to come on here and advertise their own business, as a way to protect owners from questionable businesses. We have seen too many people rip others off and we only "support" those businesses that we have done business with ourselves and they have proven to be reliable.
There are those that don't like what we have here and go other places and bitch about how the site is run and would rather we just provide everything for free and let anyone and everyone post up what they want and potentially allow users to get screwed. Well we won't be doing that, it's our site and we will run it as we want. Users who don't like it have an option, they can go elsewhere and get information. People tend to come back to this site, as it has the most accurate and detailed information around. I guess that's why our information is copied everywhere else
So if you don't like, why do you keep coming back? Is it to complain (as it seems you have a lot of that) or is it because you know this is the best site with the most information and the most knowledgeable people to ask questions about NSR's from? Maybe I can make your choice a little easier and ban you from the site? Oh, but then you would go to other forums and complain about how you got kicked off here for being a whinny little bitch...
