My not being a paid member is not a question of the money, I joined and before committing looked to what the benefits of membership were, the posts of the members is my interest as any work done to my bike will have to be done by someone else, this is galling as I worked as an Engineer so would like to do all the work myself, that is unfortunately no longer possible.

Be Fair, well it wasn't a question of being unfair and anyone who goes to a lot of trouble deserves the reward.

My post was giving an alternative to the usual, I believe in the freedom of speech and the freedom of choice and that people should be aware of what is or isn't available to them, it was a bit tongue in cheek and the reaction was predictable but I do object to name calling and of labelling someone in a way to discredit them.

Mr Gallant took me to task particularly of my mention of the manuals foibles, factually it is full of spelling errors not something I would expect of something costing £100.

If there was strong conviction there would be no need to have responded to my post at all !

Thank you for your post it was at least reasoned and in no way offensive.
