For this year I will be running the Pirelli's but I haven't given up on a 5" or 5.25" wide rear in order to be able to use 160 slicks and to go along with the 3.5" front from an NC30. Slicks are seemingly only available in 120 and 160 sizes. Someone on this site stated 5.25" is maximum width that will fit. There has also been some discussion about using a CBR F3 5" rear but only reference to "I think someone did it but it took some machining". An NF5 uses a 4.5x18 rear wheel so no go. An NX5 uses a single sided swingarm so no go. An NXA uses a 5.5x17 so too wide and no go. Did HRC make wheels specific for the NSR? Or do you (Andy) mean when you say HRC makes 5" and 5.5" wheels they are for the RS?

I've even looked into having wheels widened. Cost is excessive and read some spotty reviews too.

And new Dymags are way out of my price range.
