It's always worth considering doing the seal in the water pump, while it's apart. Most won't have been done, and remember, you're dealing with a 26-27 year old bike now. Also, parts are getting harder and harder to source now, so get them while you still can! Wink

You'll need to check the seal size when you have the cover in your hand, as there are different sizes. They don't often wear/leak, but it can happen. Some seals are unobtainable from Honda now, but can be matched up with automotive equivalents with a bit of research.

Check the shape of the clutch cover vs gasket vs engine casing. You will see if they all align correctly. As I mentioned already, different years have slight vaiances, but you can overcome them all. Assemble the cover with a little grease on the gasket, and you will be able to remove it easily and reuse it. Handy if you find that the oil seal does indeed leak a little, and needs replacing.
