What isn't cheap, what do they look like ? do you have a picture ?
Look at item 281505734070 on ebay. They are pretty rare and sought after. They are about 200 ish.
Ouch ! there is a RC30 one listed too for £465 for a second hand one ! I presume the pin is the all import bit and it seems the pin size on the RC30 / NC30 ones is the same as the MC28 ? ? if thats the case then a cheapo one from ebay or demon tweeks etc for a NC30 will fit just fine ???
Andy wrote:Yeah, that's one of the better MC28s we've run. A very nice, well looked after bike, and my second favourite colour scheme!
Personally, I'd much sooner keep the standard [original] MC28SE bodywork on it, unless the spare set is for track days? Nothing beats original panels, for either fit or resale value. The green number plates look good... the rest of the Rothmans scheme is very "wrong". Park one up next to a genuine SP sometime, and you will see a huge difference.
I don't intend getting shot of the original panels at all, just always liked the rothmans panels and previous owner had these bought already, so may have a go at getting them to fit, get spare tank painted to match and put original panels in a safe place for if I ever want to sell or fancy the original look. They look good enough for that purpose - i.e. prolonging the life of the stock panels and giving a pretty good Rothmans look that I have always hankered after. do you know think ?
