Wonder if anyone here could shed some light on this issue, I was biding on a brand new NSR MC28 rider seat new in the box factory part number # 77100-KV3-950 yahoo auction Japan and using the bidding service "Buyee" there were 13 bidders and the price was up to 550,000 yen and I thinking (stupid) lost my bearing and miss-calculated the exchange thought it was 55.00 us dollar(when it was approx. 550.00 dollars ) I set my bid to win and let it open (thinking it couldn't reach more than a couple of hundred dollars) to my surprise I won the next morning and did the calculation just shy of $980.00 U.S. dollars. I was floored and beside myself, I viewed the bidders (13) and it looked like a legitimate demand for the item. When I received the seat it was brand new but a little different , it was the correct seat size shape and all but was made out of a different material, instead of the sheen texture, this was more of a flat rough texture, you know when and NSR seat had been heavily used it takes on that polished or buffed rubber look, this was a flat look. I took side by side photo but don't know how to post. does anyone what would cause such abiding war on a seat? is there a rare HRC seat? any help would be welcomed.
