How should I decoke my mc16 exhaust

dazsegger » Tue May 05, 2015 7:58 pm

Hi guys, I have done a search and it doesn't come up with anything conclusive.
I've watched the youtube vids regards oxyceteline and then oxygen but I'm worried this would damage the end cans. So I've removed the cans and can't believe how heavy they are. When i look inside them I can only see one hole and daylight on one side. Should there be more holes that are maybe carboned up? I know I can't use bicarbonate of soda on the aluminium cans.
I read what Andy said about deriviting and cutting weld to gain access but I don't want to damage the original finish. I would buy some Tyga end cans but prefer to keep it looking stock.
Any ideas please would be great.
Cheers
Daz
