Hello fellow NSR Peeps

Hello all,
I have recently picked up a NSR250 (1990) here in the states and have a street legal title for it Wink I have been doing a lot to get it back to stock as best I can as the original owner was making a race only bike. To date, I have rebuilt the gauge cluster, re-installed the speedo sending unit and speedo cable, replaced the wire harness, reinstalled the rear brake switch, refurbished the front calipers, topped off all fluids, installe d anew triple tree with key location, cleaned and re-installed all the cowls and fairings, and a few other small things.

One of the things I was going to leave off, that the original owner abandoned, was the 2T oil tank and gear drive to mix the gas and oil together. He sealed the gear drive hole with the proper plug so I don't think I mind keeping a 5 gallon can of 30:1 mix at the ready. My biggest question that I keep running into has to do with the carburetor and vacuum hose debacle. The airbox is removed and I have pod filters on the carbs which, I like a lot. That however seems to leave a lot of vacuum hoses just left open which I can only imagine is reeking havoc on the solenoids that control the carbs but, sadly I have no idea. I'll take a picture of what I have in terms of current vacuum configuration to get some feedback from some of you that have already done this and have it working properly. I have seen the diagrams that are on this site in all black background and white lines but at 40 I can't follow them to save my life. A little color would go a long way. Also, a diagram of "Hey, you want to run open carbs then hook them up like this!" would be great too so if you have that, feel free to send it my way. I'll also attach a pic of the bike because, well, that is why we are all here right?!?! Thanks new NSR-Fam!
