There should be no reason why the MC18 motor cannot be fitted in the exact same position as the MC16 motor. In fact, with solid inserts in the mounts, I imagine [off the top of my head] it ends up narrower overall than the MC16, and can be shimmed similar to an RS250 NF5 motor.

Easier and much quicker than sourcing and adapting an MC18 swingarm for now.
