update on progress,my mc18 swingarm too pitted to scotchbrite finish and laquer so have etch and highbuild primed to paint silver,in the meantime found very small crack in frame which I didn't notice before stripping,sanding,brush finishing and lacquering doh! 10 hours wasted,will tig weld and paint frame silver to match swingarm.paint stripped my mc21 wheels look cool as they are,like lc ones of the day with polished rim! they will be painted in mica white this week.been offered some standard mc18 pipes for £100 but tempted to get dogfight ones off gecko,are they any good.
