Aftermarket pipes are a huge saving in weight, but we've not tested any yet that are better, or even as good as OEM R5/6K pipes.

Hard to fault the R2/4J pipes either, however we've not done so much testing with the '88 models.

You will probably notice a considerable drop in mid-range if you go with race pipes.
