Piston rings

Hi,

Does any one know how to differentiate the top and bottom piston rings and which side should face up etc.
Any help would be appreciated!

And may I know which cylinder head screws I would need to change if I'm converting my bottom to the top cylinder head?

The top ring is half keystone, its impossible to fit it backwards, though its upper face is marked "N"

The second ring is parallel and can not be fitted into the top rings lands, it is also marked N on its upper face.
