It was my first time out since my high side at Brands, and from the first lap of qualifying, the bike would not rev past 11k. As soon as it got close to 11k, it would cut out- exactly the same as if you accidentally hit the gear lever/quick shifter. I have since removed the quick shifter and measured the coil resistance, to ensure that it's in tolerance. I ran it yesterday, but exactly the same symptoms. So now I'm not sure where to look next. Can it only be the ECU or coils? Or could a cracked wire in the loom be enough to cause this? Open to suggestions!!!

Have you changed anything since Brands? How old are the plugs/caps?

I ran it on a dyno this week, with the ignition advancer disconnected, and the problem seems to have gone away.So hopefully that's it sorted.

You're not short of toys on your little 250, are you...

Had mine on the dyno last year to check fueling. I'd always joked about summer and winter jets. I've only ever used two combinations.

Turns out they were pretty much bang on.. Surprised

Hope you're all sorted now.
