The HRC analogue temp gauge only seemed to read intermittently so made a new dash and replaced it with one of the new Tyga digital gauges. Its battery powered and has a 1/8 BPT threaded sender so is a nice easy installation.

Nice paul ive been looking to get one of those temp gauges and i think thats made my mind up. I've also just got a HRC tacho, how are you getting that to work with the PGM3?

Hi Tony, I guess that depend on which HRC tacho you have. The one that fits the non F3 HRC mc21 loom is basically a MC18 tacho page 14 of the HRC manual in the members section shows you how to modify the small section of loom from the clocks to plug it into the main loom.

I will take a picture to show you what I mean.

Ive been told you can get them to work using a daytona pulse generator but the guy is japanese and yet to get anymore info out of him

Yep thats an RS tacho. The good news is they are worth good money and mc18 tacho are cheap as chips.
