mc21/mc28 fairings - are they the same?

are the left/right side fairings the same on MC21/MC28 and V panel?
I need some for a 28 Rothmans, bike currently has Tyga upper and seat section but there is a big delay on the mids and wondering whether to get some used OEM panels and have them painted instead.

I think they are slightly different. Ive never tried to put MC21 fairings on a 28 and vice versa so im not 100%

Yes, the mid panel and lowers are essentially the same, only the upper is different.

Thanks for that ! I need some panels for my 28, good to know I can buy 21 panels and paint them up.
