Aftermarket Pipe

This might be a dumb question but what aftermarket pipe is the loudest for two strokers Laughing

For example D&D is the most annoying and loudest pipe for four strokes. What abt for 2strokes?

The Tyga carbon cans produce 105dB, which is right on the limit for racing, so I doubt you'll find any louder - they wouldn't really sell to anyone.

Why do you want loud?

I've usually found all the pipes are pretty similar in noise output... it's what you do with the inlet that makes the biggest difference!

Opening up the airbox makes it sound a little more "throaty", fitting pod filters will give you a nice growl, and open carbs simply sing! The latter two are pretty bloody loud on full song, way louder than the pipes!

If only you could make it to the Dyno Day on Saturday, then you could stand next to mine while Stephen gives it hell up and down the gears!! Smile
