yeah i think i might at some stage
4 strokes are fun to ride but there really is nothing like the power band of a well set up 2 stroke, and the smell..... Cool
and apart from a few tyga things i don't think there is much left to do to the nc30 so i'd like a new project to toy with and i think an NSR might fit the bill
you,nsrmonkey,fontyyy,stephenrc45 all seem to be having loadsa fun so i must be missing something Shocked

Welcome "castroljc",

It's seems to be becoming a common mix, a 400 and an NSR, and a Honda 400 at that!

A few years ago it seemed the NSR was a second bike for more big bike owners and some racers that appreciated the qualities of a good 250, but now there are an increasing number of 400 owners not necessarily switching, but adding to the stable.

Saying that, most seem to prefer the NSR on virtually all occasions once they've ridden it for a while!

thanks very much andy

i've been told a smaller cc bike like an nc30 will ride very similar to a 2 stroke in that corner speeds and rhyme are what counts rather than power so i think i might give it a go if i see one come up at a fair enough price

i don't want for out and out power but i get my kicks from corner speeds and having to work a bike to get the best from it

and if there is a honda wing on the tank then i'm pretty much sold Embarassed

thgere is a guy in belfast breaking one at the moment (i know this as i have bought its bodywork) i recon he must have most of it left. its an SP i think, maybe you should ask him what he would take for it, oh and i think he has sold the wheels as well but bodywork and wheels shouldnt be to hard to get hold of.

That's alright, if my experience hasn't put you off it's just begining for you, there is no way back from here, an NSR250 massively lighter than any modern bike and when it's jetted on the edge (where it should be) it's far faster than any 400 Twisted Evil
It's Andy's fault I no longer have one of the best NC35's in the country, I have a seized up (again) NSR instead, and a £5000+ credit card bill (not just the NSR, Mr Grant's powers at dragging you to places that remove any level of financial stability you may have in your life run far deeper than that).
