Is there a better looking bracket for the rear shock reservoir ?
The original is so ugly , so I want a cool one for my new Öhlins shock. _________________ Poul

I dont think you will find much unless you have a nice alloy one made up. On the HRC race bikes the res is mounted backwards under the subframe and held there with large hose clamps (not very trick though). _________________ If I have to take the carbs off once more...
and back to the reservoir clamps, I once saw a bike that had it mounted with a fork clamp from a steering damper. looked quite good... _________________ NSR300R - Why did i ever have a 250...
Right, form follows function, so do it right and it will look right.
The factories didn't do anything more than use a hose clamp as that's good enough, that's all they ever do, there would be zero benefit to a fancy bracket so why waste money?
Anything more (in my opinion) looks a bit poncy and is starting to walk down the polished frame, anodised bolts, coloured brake pipes path. _________________ Please do not PM me technical questions, if you can't find it on the Forum start a thread
I cant think of anything worse than coloured brake lines, red ones have to be the worse though.
The neatest way to deal with the res though is to tuck it away like on the R6k where its up under the seat clipped to the battery box. _________________ If I have to take the carbs off once more...

No, I have an F3 shock on my '18 and that is how they are mounted, you just reach under and click click click _________________ If I have to take the carbs off once more...

And loose the poser value of my new Öhlins ?
I'm not even sure if I can feel any difference from the original and then tuck it away, no way! _________________ Poul
