powdercoating frame

Hi, im powdercoating my mc21 frame and swingarm satin black soon, but i was wondering whats the best way to remove the exhaust mount rubbers on the frame?

Confused

You can turn up too little collars and press them out using a little bit of studded bar.

Or

You can burn out the rubber part and then cut a slot in the outter steel ring and it will fall out.

Option 1 is much nicer.

Or you can NOT powder coat the frame!! Aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrgh!! Laughing

Black frames are for TZR's!

if i were you i wolud just leave them in. to powder coat something it only needs to get to 250c and that rubber will take a lot more than that to damage it

really? ah thats good news then, i could always get them to mask it off also. 250 degrees aint that much really is it.

great, thats one less thing to worry about. its costing £90 in satin black including all prep work, like masking and blanking off threads etc...
