2007 Llandow Weapon !

Sat Dec 09, 2006 7:54 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

After thoroughly enjoying myself at Llandow this year on the TDR, I'll be approaching it somewhat differently next year:

KR-1S Frame & Swingarm
Hagon Shock
R6 Forks, Mudguard, Caliper & Master Cylinder
RD350 F2 Motor, with programmable CDI and PV controller
Cagiva Mito/Planet Wheels
Honda SP2 Seat Unit

Essentially a dummy assembly before stripping it down for powdercoating and plating etc...

Excellent! Look forward to seeing you and the special there!

I think Nigel will have his YPVS special ready by then too.

As long as it goes ring-a-ding I'm sure you'll be more than welcome.

Is the engine standard or what has been done ?

I'm trying to persuade my son to get some bigger cylinders for his 350YPVS

Looks fantastic!!! I've owned no fewer then 8 YPVS (RZ350 here) I use to race the RZ cup back in 80's with a fellow by the name of Kevin Schwantz.

While Drunk at Kenny Roberts 53 birthday/new years eve party at the Hickman ranch. I saw the first Kenny Roberts RZ350 to roll off the assembly line. Made me misty eyed it did.

Engine will remain standard (apart from pipes and a set of PWK28's) whilst shaking it down.

Plans are for one of the Banshee big bore kits, initially 420cc, as that is the biggest you can go with the standard crank. After that, who knows ?

I would've said get Mick to keep him talking while you pinch the keys Roy, but the F3 doesn't have a key! Rolling Eyes Very Happy
