Honda can order NSR head races, I think a full set comes in at around £65 including seals. I knows yours are dead, you could feel they were pushing the bike around the yard lol

Pidcocks claim the same "can't get them" (well the one in Derby does), they can't/won't look parts up for any grey import and won't order parts with just a part number provided by a punter. I think possibly as they're that big and organised there is no process in place for ordering a part not "on the system".
Whereas the tiny Honda dealer in Heanor will blindly order any part numbers you like to provide, he just writes them down in his book and orders them the next morning along with all the normal order which is also just written down in the book.

They'll just be generic Honda bits anyway, the same bearings, dust covers etc are used in the RVF400 as well.

That's a joke.

I had to order some parts urgently last year and went to Doble's, who I think are the biggest, as in shift the most new bikes, Honda dealer in the UK, and they ordered up the part from the part number with no questions. There should be no reason for them not to get the part...

I'd stick with OEM rather than taper roller Fenton.

The bottom bearing is the same as the VFR400/RVF400, but the top is much smaller.

NB. I think the top bearing from the VFR/RVF400 is the same as on the NF5 RS250.

Interesting then that they are the same part numbers;

The VFR400 is totally different (see here) and uses the same bearing top and bottom.

Sorry I forgot that the RVF had the spindly top yoke the same as the NSR. The RS and VFR400 share the same top as they both use the much larger steering stem.
