Got your CV together? If so then just send it to everyplace that you can think of, following it up with a phone call. If you hassle enough people then someone will give you a job out of sympathy

Word of advice, send the CV on a Monday, to arrive Tuesday and then call them on Wednesday.

The people who say yes and no don't want to talk to you on a Monday 'cos they've got to catch up on the weekend's BS. And on Friday they only want to go home and relax.

This strategy comes from my Mum, who worked at a charity organisation and had the job of sending out blagging letters. Using the above technique got many more positive replies than just sending stuff out willy-nilly.

Also rings very true for trying to get sponsorship, so give it a try.

If it doesn't work then don't blame me! You can call my Mum and give her a hard time though on +44 012...................

BAe are having a big advertising push at the moent for engineers at Warton, which is pretty close to you. Have you checked them out?

Got a couple of mates working there, and they say it's a good place to be...
