Hi guys, how do you get the main tube out of the fork base to change the oil seal? I know there is a circlip above the seal i have removed that but the tube just won't pull out. Sad

You also have to remove the damper rod bolt from the bottom of the fork leg. Once thats out it should come out with a few good hard pulls.

You're a good man, what else can i say, and so the restoration moves on, once i get the front end together i'll try to post some photo's before i attempt to put an MC28 body work onto a MC16, it'll look the biz, but i'll have quite a few brackets to manufacture and head scratching to do. Ah well what else is there to do on a dark winters evening? Cheers.B

with a low pressure tire pump on the MC16. I've been finding it a pain to get the required air pressure balanced between each leg Sad Plan B is to swap the front end of a MC21 in.

Have a word with Alan at Alkamoto about repairing plastic panels. He will offer registered NSR-WORLD members a discount on his prices.

I've not used him myself yet, but I do have some OEM MC21 panels I will be getting him to look at soon. The other photos he has sent me look very good.
