rc valve cables.

tried to get new rc valve cables for my mc18 but david silver said they were no longer available. is there any where else they're available?
also need a speedo drive adapter.( the metal tube like bit that goes from the speedo drive to the front sprocket) mines mullered! any one taken their speedo off to go racing got a spare one they'd like to swap for cash???

Have you tried a normal Honda parts supplier? (Take along the part numbers from the site so they don't have to look them up)

I found Lings Honda were pretty good and it's free delivery as well!
They had a set of discontinued pickups for my MC18

Are the mc18 cables different to the mc21? What are the lengths of your mc18 cables Dunk?
I have got an old set of 21 cables I will measure up whem i get a moment.

cheers i'll measure mine tomorrow and we can compare! lol. cant be to much difference in it it's the one on the left on the front cylinder that going, it's only got two strands left, still working but only just Laughing

If the worst comes to the worst, they can be custom made. Maybe I'll ask Venhill if they would be prepared to offer something through the Supporting Members area in the near future if the Honda stock of cables is depleted.

another hijack....just got a clutch cable 'custom build' from Venhill for my MC16. Just gotta measure, cut to length and then solder end fitting on. They were great to deal with, ordered by email and recieved by me about 5 days later here in oz

Right, Ive just measured a power valve cable for the front cylinder:
Outer sheath: 465mm from end of adjuster to end of sheath.
Inner: 540mm from nipple to nipple Shocked
