I do remember reading a while back on are the best tires for the MC21, but I have have phoned my local dealer and there are about 30 different models numbers to choose from. Could someone recommend a good all round tire that does break the bank. I am looking for a front tyre only.

Do you recommend that I keep the front a back the same make/model or can they be different?

The other thing that I would like to ask is that I can see on the Spec's page that the MC18 rear wheel is an 140/60 x 18" and the MC21 is a 150/60 x 17" can someone explain to me why they changed this?

You should always try to keep the same make front and rear tires as the tyre tread parts have different profiles and shapes. For example a Bridgestone tread may be quite rounded and a Michelin may be a more triangular tread shape. So they may not work well together.

I fitted a set of Dunlop Alpha10s on my recent purchase,MC21R,I must say I am really impressed,especially stability,can turn the damper off!!I have a set of Bridgestones BT090s on the other one,and as soon as they are used up,Dunlop will make another sale.
