Did a search but not much on type of two stroke oil people use. Read article on Blue Marble, is it worth the cost? Any other BESTS out there?? _________________ 1985 TZR 250

i use motal in my road bikes, have done for years. my 350lc never seized again after i started using it. used rock oil in my gas gas 330 trials outfit. it got the living day lights caned out of it. and only ever needed two piston rings and a lot of clutches
if your using pre mix, castrol 747 is good. its a castor oil and smells just like castrol R
I did a poll on another forum about a year back.
Out of something like 50 responses the most popular was Castrol TTS
Next was Motul and then Silkolene.
I run a heavily tuned Yamaha-ha 350 and it gets fed Rockoil which has yet to fail even though it's making silly power at over 12000 rpm, revving to 13K regulary. A further testament to Rockoil is that it kept the engine turning over when the primary gear pinion failed - this means that the autolube effectively stops working and you only get a minimal feed.
The RG and LC gets TTS coz it smells nice as will the AR and RD 125's - when they get finished.... some day, over the rainbow _________________ These aren't the droids you're looking for.

Yes, it's a very good oil. You shouldn't have any problems with it, the ordinary injector 2 stroke is more than adequate for stock bikes. I fed my MK1 RG250 that stuff for a year and it behaved fine even though it had a life of hard use...
Even Andy can vouch for that..... _________________ These aren't the droids you're looking for.
