I think they're different, and the 21 carbs are better. IIRC the 28 carbs are more restricted - or am I getting confused with NC30 and NC35?

just got my 28 carbs from TYGA. those guys are the dog's bollocks! accidently sent me 21 carbs so they sent the 28s and let me keep the 21s. .....good stuff!
the reason I went with the 28s is because they are updated versions and are a much simpler design. they're physically smaller also.. i just figured i can replace my worn 21 carbs with these 28 pieces.
plus...its always good for more poser points. Razz

well, i test fitted the carbs to my cases and Matt was right (duh, isnt he always) the 28 will need to use mc28 cables and maybe even an airbox...havent tested my 21 box out on it yet. the 28 carbs are much smaller and simpler than the 21s. bout half an inch shorter also. where are to power jets on these things?

The MC21 jet kit fits the carbs on my MC18, so I'd think they're the same.

Kieran, Did you use the X or Y pipe on your MC18 with the jet kit?
