The time has come to buy the chambers and silencers for my bike , however
I thought it might be wise to get some advice on what to buy .
I was thinking stainless steel side by side chambers and carbon/kevlar silencers from tyga about £450 plus shipping, thoughts would be appreciated. What others if any should i consider. The bike at present has holes drilled in the airbox lid and has a mmax box and thats it as far as I can see as to any modifications. The bodywork is stock and I dont really want to be messing with it so the chambers I would like to buy I want to bolt straight on(i believe that is the case with tyga)
When the new chambers and silencers are fitted what should I be looking to do then, reading some of the threads it suggests work on the jetting.
I am trying to get to a point where the bike produces a reasonable level of horsepower and is reliable.
I agree with Andy that it is hard to beat Tyga for value. I'm well pleased with mine. One note is that at least on the MC21 you'll likely need to rig up some brackets to lower the stock fairing on each side a bit to keep it from contacting (melting on) the chambers. It's actually very easy to do, i.e., if I can do it, most anybody can.

Yes Andy thats the plan, as long as I can get it all together I will be riding up to llandow for the track day as I dont live far away. If its not ready Iwill be coming anyway to meet all you guys and look at all the nsr's, will be coming down to plymouth either way to see what I can learn at the dyno day if thats ok. I have relations there so will be killing two birds with one stone.
So the tyga choice is fine I take it for chambers and silencers.
I installed a set of Tyga GP chambers, and they made my early-JHA chambers feel like junk. Tyga really has it right with their design, and noone can beat their price. _________________ Paul Herr
