i notice tyga are offering woodruff keys with various degrees of advance has anyone tried em? if so which ones? if there has already been a thread can someone direct me to it? many thanks buntz. mc18 track bike .
If you want a little more zip from your '18 and its a R5K you can use a MC21 wheel. This advances the ign just a little. I forget how much, 1deg sticks in my mind.
You can't do this on a R2J though as the fly wheel are different dia. _________________ If I have to take the carbs off once more...
thanks for the speedy advice, it's an r2j and will be used for trackdays so i'm looking for reliable power, just enough to dust all my mates zxr 400s. thanks buntz.
The key should have very little load though it. If you had one shear its more likely it was poor fit in the fly wheel or abused. The taper should do 99% of the work not the key. _________________ If I have to take the carbs off once more...

Paranoia about failure will ensure nothing but failure to ever reach potential. _________________ Please do not PM me technical questions, if you can't find it on the Forum start a thread
