Hi Everyone
How tight should the bolts on the clutch hub be after replacement? Do you tighten all the way down??

10Nm as far as I'm concerned. M6 Bolt and all that. Not had one come loose, and never snapped one.

I've snapped (sheered) one! Very Happy Although it must have been flawed, as it wasn't done up particularly tight.

I've not broken a post though, but I've seen lots of bikes with broken hubs and only 4 bolts holding the pressure plate on!

They're never going to fall out though... not with the ultimate spring washer behind them! Smile

Where?

It doesn't say anything specific for them and says any unspecified M6 bolt is 10Nm.

yeah your right, i was looking for the clutch hub nut in the service manual which is slightly mnore than 5 Nm.

It was in the bottom end rebuild tutorial of the workshop section on the main site.

Either way the threads been helpfull and i'll do them to 10nm.
