That an mc18 whilst being ridden under normal conditions on a 60km/h suburban street, all of a sudden lock up the rear wheel.. Come to a complete stop, but then seem perfectly fine and functioning directly after??

Try running premixed fuel and see. Check your cooling system too. I have heard of water pumps breaking or blocked water lines causing a "heat sieze", then freeing up after it's cooled down. Hope it's not something ugly like pieces of piston skirt causing the lock up. Good luck!

I ::shudder:: have to agree with DS. I'd be pulling a pipe off and having a look at the pistons. Been there myself.
