Dear all members, I did the search but couldn't find anything on making a rusty Tyga chamber looking better. I just bought this bike but the expansion chamber is showing its age. What can I do to make it better? Steel wool?
Is it a mild steel chamber? If so, wire brush (or one that fits onto a power device or a bench version), plenty of patience and then a coat of BBQ paint.
You can buy wood stove spray paint from B&Q which will give a superb finish - I've just redone a stove and it's the perfect finish. _________________ MC21SP Plaything

I used Rustoleum Hammered Finish black paint on mine. It's held up for 4 years now. Extremely durable stuff and didn't bake off. Gives a bit of a different look as it's not a flat black.
