Any body else going to this on the 17th August?

Just booked into the inters group with my mate on his ratty old KR1s race bike!

I'm booked into the Novice Group. Good job really as my first ever visit to Cadwell ended after just 2 track sessions after the engine seized! Still need to learn the proper lines! See you there mate! Fontyyy is booked in the fast group, not sure who else is going.

I fail to see your point, the reason you run a 4 stroke crank steadily for a long time is the main and bigend bearings are flat pieces of metal held apart by a film of oil. They aren't flat enough or a good enough fit against each other from new.

This is not true of a two stroke, they're all ball bearings.

If the barrels and/or rings are new as well you'll do more damage than good keeping the revs down, especially if you're trying to get up the Mountain or Coppice.
