I'd like to replace the plugs in my 96 MC28 but I am not having any luck finding the factory spec plugs at my local parts suppliers. The plugs in it when I bought it are B8EG. I have no idea where they fall in the range compared to the br9ecm. I was also surprised to find the br9ecm to be about $10 each when I found them online, and I'm sure there's shipping to be added as well.
Is it a common problem here in the US to not be able to find the br9ecm? I did some searching and as usual came up with hundreds of posts and never really finding my answer.
Yup my local shops couldn't get them or didn't want to not sure which.
I ordered on line and paid about what you're saying. Let me tell you it really hurt when I first built my engine and was jetting it. New plugs, plug chop, change jets, repeat. It got expensive real quick.
Try asking for NGK part # 3252. The days of using the "real" number code for spark plugs is gone(no one is smart enough for that system)...... You'll still pay 10 bucks a plug, but no shipping cost. _________________ MC21

we stock them at our shop and get them easy enough. Try a KTM shop as they are oem on a few of their dirtbikes. _________________ MC21 300R w/SE bits, Rossi 2001
