hey , i am rebuilding my mc 21, it was all stock before and now i have fitted a set of ETHOS chambers ,derestrictrd it , put in new HRC high flow reeds , and plan to run a open airbox . my question is - what size jets should i go with ? thanks
Is it for the track? If not, I would use a filter. Removing them is good for up to 3hp, but not having it is good for 0hp when you suck a load of crap in there and knacker the crank.
That aside, I'd start with 200's and work your way down. _________________ MC21SP Plaything

by open air box i just meant that the lid was removed , i have a daytona filter wired in there. this is not going to be a track bike just a toy to scream around on.
In that case, and presuming you're keeping the power jets as Andy stated, I'd more likely start at 180's and head smaller from there.
Do you have a jet kit already? If it's an HRC or similar, it'll be full of big jets as they are designed to work without the PJ's.
If you've no experience jetting, remember to plug chop constantly, and ALWAYS err on the side of rich. Going lean will cost you at least a couple of hundred for new pistons and a barrel replate. At worst it'll sieze whilst cornering and cost you a set of underpants too! _________________ MC21SP Plaything
