And thats based on what facts? I know of a pretty well respected NSR guru that has dyno'd several PGM's "back to back" and found the MC28 PGM with a 030 card makes the best power.

Sure you have to buy a HRC card for it, but its still a lot cheaper than buying a "HRC PGM" would cost.

Although back to the topic, I think your graph is pretty much bang on Andy, although I think as time goes on that it may level out a lot more as the current generation of buyers 'scratch their itch'.

A £1700 mc21, no real changes this past 18 months racing other than crash damage and a setup. And faster than an HRC carded, K-tech suspended mc28


I'm STILL racing on the money I made selling my mc28's.
Obviously when I say "made" I don't really mean made, the race bike stood me at a small fortune, the Rothmans might have paid it's way...just.

It seems the moderators will simply bash 28's at every opportunity but IMO the 21's look very dated next to a 28 - as a collector i am happy to pay the £2000 premium over the 21's - if i want power i will throw a leg over any modern supersports bike. I buy 28's because the curves are simply gorgeous.

I don`t think you can say an MC21 looks dated compared to an MC28, but you can argue an MC18 does.

The Pro-Arm pre-dates the Gull-Arm by a number of years!

TYGA kit would soon fix that.. Yes I know some will argue that stock looks better and they can have their opinion, but IMO TYGA fairings look 10x better than stock..

I think all the haters secretly want a 28, but they have slagged it off so much over the years they think they would look daft.
It's like the BMW thing, so many people say they bloody hate them and the drivers are all dickheads but they wouldn't say no to an M3.

Just buy one guys, we won't mock you or hold it against you. We know the 28's are the prettiest NSR's by far.

I think Andy has one already, hidden in the attic...his guilty secret.....

The price graph looks pretty much spot on to me. I may look at getting a track bike in the future, yes it will be an NSR, no it wont be A 28..too expensive. Also as said on here many times, the 21's are quicker and handle better due to the stiffer gullarm and cheaper to get quicker.

Just a shame they don't look as good....you cant have everything though can you?

MC21 is the second best looking NSR behind the MC18 R5k/6k. Third has to be the MC18 R2J/4J and then the MC16's.

I guess that means the '28 is last in yet another department

What your MC28 or Suzuki?

I must admit they are both worthless but aleast some of the Suzuki's come with a proper swing arm and an ignition system that works.

I'd have an MC28, and I've already owned an E30 323i, and it was a cracking car!

MY '28 would never run a PGM-IV though, unless I could get a "special" one.
