MC21 1993... what should I expect in gas mileage?

Going on a ride with my buddies, one stretch is 105 miles going about 60mph (about 100 kph) with no place to stop for gas. Should I be okay? My bike is all stock and I have never EVER checked what my fuel mileage is.

My worked MC21, 60hp ish will do maybe somewhere around 200kms on a full tank with my fist up her. Maybe 250kms if I go easy.

Filling the tank from empty takes 5.2 gallons. 320 of those km were non stop riding with the RPMs in the 5k range.

The bike does get hot easily.

Is it a Hybrid NSR or are you running #090 main jets .
To get double the milage of most nsr`s would be so hard.
Is you speedo working right ?

Worked it out today, rode 230km before I filled up and worked out the mileage to be 5.75L/100km, or 50mpg for you yanks who haven't yet migrated to si units. Does this sound about right?

50 mpg! Either you arent trying hard enough or your riding a standard mc28! Laughing
