Honda mc16 project!!

Mon Feb 28, 2011 1:44 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Iv recently won an mc16 project on eBay... I'm yet to pick it up but in the listing it comes with a cbr400 tri arm swingarm that is yet to be fitted, my question is has anyone attempted to fit one to an mc16? I'm interested as the advantage of fitting the cbr400 rear 17" wheel for better rubber would be ideal.

Any info would be great otherwise I ll let you guys know if it will work or not.

Howdy! Fitting a cbr gull arm will require alot of work as the shock mounting is completly different. If you look at photos on somewhere like bikepics you'll see the cbr shoch mounts on a linkage above the swing arm. But if you're good at fabricating and welding, nothing is impossible!

There's an mc21 nsr gull are on a certain well known auction site at the moment for £75 that will be alot easier to fit and you could sell the cbr one. Very Happy
Actually there are two on there.
