Speedo Conversion?

Mon May 09, 2005 2:25 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Can I get a speedo convertor for my MC21 anywhere?

An in-line convertor would be nice, or a different clock face to show the speed in MPH instead of Kph. Or, will just settle for stickers if nothing is available!?

Anyone??? KPH to MPH please.

Take it apart, and simply paint the face with new markings. Or make one on your computer and print it out and glue it on. Hmmm! I'm not really helping am I Confused

There is a converter for it. I'm probably wrong but I was thinking it was Motrax that sells it. It basically fits all Hondas with speedo cables. I'll send the link if I can find it later.

I'll have to look for it tonight. I think I have it saved on my computer at home. They weren't expensive really and looked very simple. Just screwed in between the speedo and the cable.

This isn't really the link I was looking for but it's the same part. It's the mechanical converter for the top of the cable. I'll still look for the other link tonight.

Here is a link to Motrax. Motrax was very helpful they helped me find a dealer in the states that carried there parts. I have the blue one screws to the back of the speedo. Works great. Very Happy

Someone on the list, forgot who, sold me a complete MPH speedo about 3 or 4 years ago. It was a straight swap for the KPH model. So they are out there. If anyone needs a KPH speedo, let me know. I have it tucked away and it's in perfect order.
