NSR 400, Restricted?

Does anyone know if the NSR 400 Japanese market model is restricted like the some 250s are. My understanding is that it was the bike in the late 80s that were restricted so did the 400 escape.

If i remember right the South Africa model and Japs are restricted. Try going to NS400R forum everything is there.

Thanks I found what I needed. Looks like a sleeve in the pipe like the 3MA then.

New Pipes (you can get away with keeping the middle one as its the right length), bin the ATAC and blank off, rejet and they go much much better.
