OEM bodywork MC28

Wed Aug 24, 2011 11:13 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

There was a post some time ago about OEM bodywork being available in the UK, is this Still the case? If so, does anyone have any contact information as to where to get it?

Does anyone know the color code for the 94 Rothmans OEM bodywork, I think it's NH196.

Also, I need a Front brake lever, what fits? NSR parts are not available in NY.....CBR?

Cheers!

James

I just picked up a 96 SE and was wondering about other honda model parts interchangibility as well. I'm planning on replacing some of the fairing fasteners, and at a casual glance, they appear to be similar to some on my 97 cbr 900.

As far as the brake lever, I noticed this weekend that it looked very similar to the 97 rr lever. I can take a closer look and see if it is indeed the same.

Has anyone ever run across list of interchangeable parts with other Honda models?

The best thing to do is go through the microfiche in the parts manual (left hand side of this site) and call you local honda stockist. They should still be able to source some of the fasteners.

David Silver Spare in the UK can get them, so you may find them in the US or could get them inported.

Bought 2 sets of these suckers for my NSR's and they bolted on no problem. Really nice levers. They're in the U.S and they're Guaranteed for life. Otherwise, anything CBR600/F2F3F4F4i (1987-2006) fits the nsr. May want to go with the shorty's because the clutch lever just touches the tachometer full right turn.

Just to follow up I measured the brake levers on the NSR and 900rr last night, and they are identical. It appears the 900/600 Cbrs use the same lever, and would also work on the NSR.
