OK so Ive got a bit of a problem. I had an issue were the material around the cylinder head studs had become soft so the studs pulled. I realised what was happening when one of the cylinder head nuts came loose so ended up puling the head off and helicoiling the stud and putting everything back. The bike seized after about 20-30 min of not very hard running.
I figured the problem was the weakened material around the studs letting loose and radiator fluid getting into the cylinder. So I rebuilt the engine and figured nothing of it. Nice new engine and 20-30 min later seized up again once again not being ridden hard. There were gargling sounds form the lower cylinder both times it seized so figure that might be a symptom that I didnt take into account the first time? Not very happy now so any help appreciated.
So before I give it another go what do people thing the problem might be or does anyone have any advice? _________________ 94 mc28 SE
Take some good, detailed photos (NOT WITH A PHONE!) of the piston (sides and crown), cylinder, and head too.
No disrespect, but good clear photos say far more than often a rather less than technical description, although "gurgling" is quite good! _________________ Andy.

I will take some pictures tonight. The crown will be irrelevant not as I have to hit it to get the piston out. I did check it before removing it and it had no sign of detonation and looked like new.
The gurgling description was because it sounded like the coolant might be boiling? The temp gauge didn't get above 65°C though and radiator had fluid in it though. Doe one have to bleed the coolant lines somehow after draining it? _________________ 94 mc28 SE
What mark piston did you put in ? What mark is on your barrel ? Has the barrel been replated before ? When you put water in did you top it up after you started the bike ?
ETC

I used everything off Tygas website to suite the "A" cylinder.
Did the rebuild in the following or close enough.
-Pull old stuff off.
-Checked ring gap.
-Install piston/rings.
-new gaskets etc.
-Torque everything up.
-fresh coolant
-Several warmup cycles
Ride for 30min, splutter and done.
Ive attached some picture of the seizure.
