Looks stock, but is it? Which year? What is it?

Ah thanks! Sorry for the double post, I wasn't sure which one was most appropriate.

Where can I find more info on the RS250R? I looked but couldn't find much info (specs, etc.).

How hardcore is it, I mean, does it require engine rebuilds every couple of hours of use? Is it still in production? Who sells it outside Japan? What's it worth new? Is the engine a highly tuned version of the NSR's 250? Looks like a fabulous track bike.

I'd love to find out more about this ride. Any lead would be helpful, thanks!

Bruckner

More info at: http://www.rscycles.com/Bikes/250/02%20rs250/250cc2.htm

Top end is recommended at 300 miles, with a crank at around (I think) 2500 miles. You can get one from Rising Sun Cycles if your in the US. Outside the US, don't know.

They cost about 20K new, can be had used for less. The engine shares being a 2-stroke with the NSR, and that's about it. It's a serious race bike from HRC, and more then a handful to ride fast. Riding it slow is proving to be hard as well.
