Hi all
Just to let you know that a certain greek fellow is able to repair PGMIIIs. I just had one repaired and just tested it on the bike and it works.
I paid 60£ incl. return shipment and parts.

Many thanks for that Poul and sorry again for the delay in posting back your unit.
John, that should be me back in 2010, sorry to hear about that now.
The current owner of this PgmIV unit has already contacted me and I reckon it's already in the post office.
That said, my experience on PgmIV units is very limited due to the bizarre key mechanism that locks the ECU without the existence of a card and a LCD connected. Even then testing is major pita as many functions still does not work.
In the long run, this means that fully testing a Pgm4 requires putting my mc28 on the workbench.
Not to mention that in the meanwhile I should swap wiring looms etc as -thanks to Stephen- I'm currently using a F3 PGMII unit and I don't think I'm going back to Pgm4 (as a matter of fact nor Pgm3 as well) in the near future.
This is why I reject many people, -including some members of this forum- when they have certain problems with their Pgm4 unit.
Certain problems that are simple and straightforward on previous Pgm units are a nightmare to be repaired on Pgm4 units. _________________ 2t-racelab.com
